“Hoshino Resort OMO5 Tokyo Otsuka” is organizing a “Maiden’s Sake Trip,” a collaboration event with “Miki no Mikoto,” a sake character project by BANDAI NAMO Entertainment Inc., from May 9th to November 30th, 2019.
We have prepared four collaboration projects, so please enjoy a special trip recommended for ladies sensitive to subcultures and trends, in which you can enjoy all of the characters, sake, and the streets of Otsuka!

Background of the collaboration

“Hoshino Resorts OMO5 Tokyo Otsuka” is organizing a “Maiden’s Sake Trip,” a collaboration event with “Miki no Mikoto,” a sake character project by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc., from May 9th to November 30th, 2019.
We have prepared four collaboration projects, so please enjoy a special trip recommended for ladies sensitive to subcultures and trends, in which you can enjoy all of the characters, sake, and the streets of Otsuka!

1. A collaboration room that expresses the world view

Each day, we will be selling just one collaboration room that expresses the world view of “Miki no Mikoto.” Inspired by the drinking place where the characters work in the story, “Matsuyoian,” the guest room is decorated with short curtains, one-sho bottles, balls made from sprigs of cedar, slips of paper traditionally posted on shrine pillars by pilgrims, and so on.

2.An "Otsuka sake map" that lets you easily go around enjoying sake and a special OMO ranger

Our original “Otsuka sake map” is sold at the front desk. On the map, places where you can drink the brands that characters in “Miki no Mikoto” are based on, such as Dassai and Urakasumi. Also, if you present the map at the pub, you can receive a character sticker of a prince of refined sake. You can also experience the fun visiting many pubs on a pub crawl with the original sake cup in one hand and collecting stickers.
Furthermore, as contents unique to OMO, which proposes deep trips of the neighborhood, an activity that shows you around the streets of Otsuka, “Your Neighborhood Guide, OMO Ranger,” will also conduct “Miki no Mikoto Pub Crawl Tours,” in which you can hop around our recommended pubs.

3. Decoration of the public space

We will decorate the public space “OMO Base” with “Miki no Mikoto” as the theme. Other than displaying one-sho bottles labeled with the characters and selling products related to sake at the shop, characters are integrated into the large wall map that introduces the must-visit sites of OMO’s neighborhood, the “Neighborhood Map,” and pubs where sake can be enjoyed are introduced.

【Close】4.Public live stream of "Mikomiko Channel" by voice actors and breweries

We will be conducting a public live stream of “Mikomiko Channel,” a program that is part of the video streaming service “& CAST!!!”, at OMO Base.
In the public live stream, other than a talk session by voice actors in charge of the princes of refined sake that appear in “Miki no Mikoto,” we also plan to include introductions of sake by breweries, a guide on how to enjoy sake on the streets of Otsuka by an OMO ranger, and so on.
*As a bonus, we will invite those staying in the “Miki no Mikoto” collaboration room when they check-in on the day of the public live stream to the event.

What is “Miki no Mikoto”?
“Miki no Mikoto” is a sake character project developed by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. in a tie-up with its world view. In this project, the story of characters that bear the names of brands of sake that actually exist, “princes of refined sake,” encounter various customers that patronize the pub “Matsuyoian” situated in the bustling district of “Yayoimachi,” deepen their bonds with their comrades, and learn about what true “entertainment” is unfolds.
The origins of existing brands of sake with long histories, information on the land, as well as the thoughts of those who make them are projected onto the characters, and the painstakingly-crafted character designs, including their kimono patterns and accessories, as well as their diverse profiles altogether make up the biggest feature of the project. Currently, 27 existing brands have been made into characters.
