Enjoy a Fun Winter Even in the Cold

We will be holding a special event from December 1st to March 31st where you can warm up with a kotatsu and local sake. Asahikawa, known for being one of the coldest places in Japan, offers you the chance to experience true warmth while enjoying your stay in this unique environment.

The One and Only OMO7 Asahikawa Original Kotatsu in the World

At the OMO Base, you can now experience a kotatsu made with Asahikawa furniture, one of Japan’s top five furniture brands. This kotatsu, measuring approximately 1.5 meters in depth and 4.2 meters in width, will wrap you in warmth after being chilled by the extreme cold outside. Enjoying the cozy warmth with friends or family, time will fly by. Once your body is warm, we recommend buying some ice cream at the OMO Café & Bar. You can also experience the unique Hokkaido tradition of enjoying cold ice cream in a warm room during the frigid winter.

Enjoy a Stroll Around Town with a "Hot Sake Hopping Local Sake Ticket

Asahikawa is known for its thriving sake brewing industry. In the cold winter, we recommend enjoying local sake as hot sake (atsukan). Hot sake warms you up, so you can enjoy hopping between bars in the chilly streets while staying comfortably warm. To celebrate this season, OMO7 Asahikawa is offering the “Hot Sake Hopping Local Sake Ticket.” Those who purchase the ticket will receive a “Hot Sake Hopping Local Sake Map,” which lists the best places to enjoy hot sake, as well as an original OMO7 Asahikawa ochoko (sake cup).
